1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Endpoint Tracker you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Endpoint Tracker ("Service"), operated by Endpoint Tracker ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Endpoint Tracker is a software-as-a-service tool that:
- Monitors external HTTP/HTTPS API endpoints for changes in response schema
- Stores schema snapshots and generates diffs when changes are detected
- Sends alerts via email, Slack, or webhook when breaking changes occur
- Provides a dashboard and REST API for managing monitored endpoints
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Accounts & Registration
To use Endpoint Tracker you must:
- Provide a valid email address and create a password
- Be at least 13 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your password secure and not share it with others
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at support@endpointtracker.com.
One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Endpoint Tracker to:
- Monitor APIs you do not have permission to access
- Send an excessive number of requests to third-party APIs in violation of their terms of service
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or collect data from third-party services in bulk without their consent
- Introduce malicious code, viruses, or harmful data into the Service
Important: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to monitor any API endpoint you add to Endpoint Tracker. We are not responsible for any claims arising from your use of third-party APIs.
5. Plans, Billing & Payments
Free Plan
The Starter plan is free forever with the limitations described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits with 30 days notice.
Paid Plans
Pro ($9/month) and Enterprise ($45/month) plans are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Paystack. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Plan Limits
Each plan has limits on the number of endpoints, check frequency, team members, and log retention. If you exceed plan limits you will be prompted to upgrade. We will not automatically upgrade your plan or charge you additional fees without your consent.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days advance notice by email. Price changes take effect at your next billing cycle after the notice period.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then.
We do not provide refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month you will retain access until the end of that month.
Exceptions: If Endpoint Tracker has a significant outage (more than 24 hours of cumulative downtime in a calendar month) you may request a prorated credit by emailing support@endpointtracker.com.
7. Your Data
You own your data. We claim no intellectual property rights over the endpoint configurations, schemas, or diff history you create using Endpoint Tracker.
You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the Service to you.
Upon account deletion, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not use your endpoint data to train machine learning models or for any purpose other than providing the Service.
8. Intellectual Property
The Endpoint Tracker name, logo, website, application, and all related software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.
If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback to improve the Service.
9. Service Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We are not liable for any losses caused by downtime, errors, or service interruptions.
We perform maintenance periodically which may cause brief interruptions. We will notify users of planned maintenance via email where possible.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: Endpoint Tracker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption — arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.
Endpoint Tracker is a monitoring and alerting tool. We do not guarantee that all schema changes will be detected, that alerts will be delivered without delay, or that our schema inference is 100% accurate. You should not rely solely on Endpoint Tracker as your only method of API change detection.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Endpoint Tracker and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
- Your monitoring of API endpoints without authorisation
- Your violation of any third party's rights
- Any content or data you submit to the Service
12. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your Profile page or contacting support.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:
- Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy
- Engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour
- Fail to pay subscription fees after a grace period
- Use the Service in a way that endangers other users or third parties
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree with updated Terms you may cancel your account before they take effect.
